I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. From day one, I’ve been a huge fan of good music. My mother admits that I could sing before I could talk. My attraction for music stuck around with me throughout childhood, especially after I learned to play an instrument, a trumpet at age 10. I became quite good at it, and thrived on success I had while learning more about music while growing up. As a teenager, I moved to Columbus, Ohio and attended Northland High School, where I continued to play music. I performed in many events, concerts, and ceremonies, and have won numerous awards up until I graduated in 1997.

Since then, I’ve attended both The Ohio State University and Franklin University, where I studied Digital Communications. My fascination with electronics became parallel with my evergrowing love for music, particularly hip-hop and jazz. I still play my instrument now and then. I even write a bit (more like a lot), spending my time satisfying my ongoing sweet tooth for the perfect verse, over a tight beat.

Everything seen on this site is mine. I design the covers and layout. I maintain my own wordpress database. I edit and master all of the audio that you hear on my podcast feed (I admit I’m not the best at it, but I do okay for a novice). I have a wide variety of interests. I love music obviously, but I’m a big movie buff as well. I love video games and sports too. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I decided to launch this blog, THE HARD LINE, with the idea in mind to highlight and help promote music artists’ pod-safe work by way of the internet. When I’m not creating podcasts, working my “day” job, or updating this blog, I’m reading, writing, or creating some music of my own.
